Mission Call Opening

On Wednesday, July 2, I received my mission call!!! It was one of the happiest days of my life.  I got it 10 days after i turned in my mission papers, which was crazy!!! Ash helped me get a  map, and get a cute table all set up. I had to call everyone really quick and tell them to come over so i could open it.

Finally it was 7:30, and it was time to open my call.

Dear Sister Ritter,
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  You are assigned to labor in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission.  It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months. You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, August 13.  You should prepare to preach the gospel in the English language.

The second i opened my call i felt so much joy to be going to Oklahoma.  I love it so much already!! It is incredible the spirit that went through me as i read my mission call.  I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am supposed to be serving in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission and i cannot wait!
